We are searching for experts with Accounts Payable/Invoice Processing/Accounting/ERP experience who can accurately process vendor invoices and respond to queries to ensure timely payment.
Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices, provide resolutions, and release them for payment.
- Explain and show basic Accounts Payable process concepts such as 3-way match, PO, NON PO, and GRN.
- Able to understand the nuances of India AP aspects
- India Import Invoice Processing: Check the Bill of Entry and packing list before mailing.
- Proficient in Tax Deducted at Source; should understand the percentage of deduction for various categories.
- Be aware of the TDS payable to service expenses incurred in foreign currency.
- GST = Candidates will be expected to understand intrastate, interstate, state, and central components, as well as rates. Basics will suffice.
- Resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via e-mails or tickets within the agreed SLA
- Review and confirm the basic components of a valid invoice, such as supplier information, PO, bank account, invoice number, invoice date, and so on.
- Maintain an exception tracker and ensure invoices and queries are balanced, taking into account the exception tracker.
- Maintain exception logs for process-related exceptions as they occur for knowledge retention.
- Independently complete transactional duties to aid in the compliance, planning, and execution of given processes.
- Follow up with requisitions (by calls, emails, or tickets) to obtain hold invoices in accordance with the AP guidelines.
- Enforce the internal compliance policies and guidelines established by management in their everyday operating activities.
- Perform daily internal audits to ensure all invoices and queries are balanced as per the guidelines.
