The Financial Information Examiner brings a breadth of information, insight, and research skills that add to the overall credit investigation capabilities of the Money Ratings team. Responsibilities:

Conduct examinations to support testing, research, and scientific endeavors. Examples of work include:

• Apply MIS guidelines to existing information to provide significant input to the rating and investigation process, including Moody’s changed information, key points, ratios, figures, and charts, under MIS procedures.
• Perform a variety of information access assignments, including reviewing and approving information for additional use in investigations and assessments.
• Responsible for reviewing and understanding financial reports, official statements, and other records related to proponent presentations.
• Work directly with assessment and support investigators to understand information requirements, changes, and other data required by the rating group for assessment and investigation.
• Make straightforward estimates and apply judgment to various calculations of information.
• Gather information (sometimes unstructured) from a variety of sources, update relevant data sets, and enhance or resolve issues.
• Complete basic expectations such as bulletins, data set-up maintenance, more complex or eminent managers, or other help assigned to oversee.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of how information is squeezed into systems.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and decipher. Financial measurements announced by the assessed entities
• Communication with colleagues, direct managers, and limited different partners
• Expand knowledge of presentable work with more than one basic task/direction
• Inactive male/owner in money, business, bookkeeping, or similar field
• Up to 2 years of significant experience in credit/monetary information investigation and understanding; organized money experience would be an added advantage
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Microsoft Success Skills
• Familiarity with English with excellent writing and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills
• Language skills may be expected for specific positions
